The Tamil Nadu Business Facilitation Act 2018, the single window mechanism facilitates quick and easy clearances for investments in the State. The recent ranking of Tamil Nadu as the best state in India, in Political stability and Governance and in availability of quality labour, by National council for Applied Economic Research, India, has come as a feather in the cap of Tamil Nadu's business friendly policies.
The Government of Tamil Nadu will facilitate for the growth of investors in fisheries and allied sector by investing in Tamil Nadu especially in Boat process, Fish processing units and products diversification process & value added products, Integrated fish parks, Exclusive Tuna Processing Units, Mother vessel project, Oceanarium project, Cold chain refrigeration system, Export of fish and fish products, Aquaculture and Coastal Aquaculture Estate, Mari culture and Open Sea Cage farming.
The Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, is pleased to inform that the Government of Tamil Nadu proposes to conduct Global Investors Meet (GIM) on January 23rd to 24th, 2019 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. GIM-2019 will provide a platform for interacting with various stakeholders, including high-level Government functionaries and major business through B2B and B2G meetings. All trade commissions, business entities in the field of Fisheries are welcome to join this Global Investors Meet.
