"India Corner" at the University of Illinois in Chicago – 29 April 2026

The Consulate launched an “India Corner” at the University of Illinois Chicago, featuring a selected collection of books on India’s culture, history, economy, science, technology, and politics. Consul General handed over the collection to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Engagement and the Associate University Librarian emphasizing its value in deepening awareness on India. The visit included an interaction with Indian students, underscoring the Consulate’s commitment to their welfare. The initiative earned appreciation from UIC’s faculty, students, and community.
