Hindi Diwas 2026

A vibrant celebration of Hindi Diwas 2026 at the Consulate General of India!

In collaboration with the Hindi Coordination Committee, scholars, community organizations, students, parents, and Hindi enthusiasts, the Consulate celebrated the beauty and richness of the Hindi language. The event showcased the wonderful talent of more than 80 students from 11 institutions, who presented plays, poetry recitations, and patriotic songs.

Addressing the gathering, the Consul General Dr. M. Anand Prakash highlighted the importance of nurturing Hindi and other Indian languages among diaspora children so they can stay connected with their linguistic and cultural heritage. A celebration of language, culture, and the next generation!

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Campaign, the Consulate also organized a painting competition for children. Certificates and prizes were awarded to the winners.
