The Consulate broadened its “India Corner” initiative across the Midwest with the inauguration of an India Corner at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. The Corner features a collection of books covering India’s culture, history, economy, science, technology, and politics. Consul General formally presented the collection to Chancellor Dr. Manohar Singh, highlighting its role in fostering a deeper understanding of India and strengthening global perspectives.
The initiative received enthusiastic support from faculty, students, and members of the local community. With a student population of over 12,000, University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh is widely recognized for its strengths in nursing and health sciences, STEM disciplines, business, technology, and applied research, offering students extensive opportunities for hands-on learning and innovation.
