Consulate General of India celebrated the 10th Ayurveda Day with this year's theme: "Ayurveda for People and Planet". The event included a talk by Ayurvedic practitioners, an anesthesiologist/Pain management specialist followed by launch of Nutrition 360 campaign by Global Indian Scientists and Technocrats (GIST). Nutrition 360 aims to increase awareness about balanced nutrition, integrating traditional food with modern nutritional science rooted in Ayurveda. There was a great intent in understanding Nutrition 360 initiative. Dr. Yelloji Rao Mirajkar gave a detailed presentation on the campaign and its relevance in USA. Consul General highlighted Ayurveda's significance as an ancient medical and wellness system and declared launch of Nutrition 360 in US Midwest.
