As part of its initiative to establish “India Corners” across Midwest universities, the Consulate inaugurated an “India Corner” at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago, donating a diverse collection of books on India’s culture, history, economy, science, technology, and politics. Consul General presented the books to the President of IIT, emphasizing their role in enriching learning and fostering global awareness. Founded in 1890 with over 8000 students, IIT is renowned for innovation, research excellence, and strong industry connections. Consul General met faculty & Indian students and discussed about ways of further engagements
